(Newark) Paul Baumbach, Democratic candidate for 23rd District State Representative, joined host U.S. Senator Chris Coons and fellow Democrats in thanking organized labor for its support in the coming election. Baumbach was one of a number of Democratic candidates speaking to a Meet the Candidates Rally at the IBEW Hall in New Castle on Monday October 15th. Baumbach called the support of Labor “a critical element in my election campaign”, and said, “I pledge my support to the cause of increasing job opportunities and fair employment and wages for all workers, if I’m privileged to represent you in Dover.”

The rally guest list included U. S. Senator Tom Carper and U. S. Congressman John Carney, along with assembly candidates from across the State. The event was jointly sponsored by the state AFL-CIO and the State Democratic Party.
